These recent assemblages constructed from found materials exude an emotional obsessive quality. Tension is purposefully created through the juxtaposition of various materials. The choices of duck feathers, real fur and expired inner tubes infer voodoo connections and explore themes related the spirit world and death. These works developed out of my interest in 3D form and the primitive reflecting earlier work directions. |
